Student Council

The School Student Council is an essential component of most educational institutions, comprising representatives from various grades who plan, organise and execute cultural and sports activities. The Student Council also helps maintain discipline in the school, and its leaders, the Head Boy and Head Girl, play a pivotal role in managing the council's activities.

Role of the Student Council

The Student Council comprises of representatives from Grades I-VIII, elected for a term of one academic year. The Council’s primary responsibility is to plan, organise and execute cultural and sports activities at the school and at the inter-school level. They collaborate with other student councils and educational institutions to organise events, competitions and other cultural activities, showcasing the talents of the students.

Maintaining Discipline

The Student Council also plays a vital role in maintaining discipline in the school. They ensure that students follow the school’s rules and regulations and behave appropriately. They act as a bridge between the students and the school administration, raising concerns or feedback from students on behalf of the entire student body.
